Le cirque du bord du monde

At its theatre in Laeken, the company Les Coeurs de Bois offers puppet shows all year round from its repertoire as well as contemporary creations. Puppets have protest in their DNA: they say out loud what others think deep down... They have always been used to protest, ask questions about the powers that be and also question the human condition. This is what the Théâtre royal les Coeurs de Bois promises us with the previously-unseen show Le cirque du bord du monde (The circus from the edge of the world), which will consider abnormality, non-conformity and the acceptance of differences through the story of Thomas, a young boy not like the others. A story full of finesse written by the Brussels author and actor Thierry Janssen.
